Louisa Courtauld was a goldsmith and jeweller married to an ancestor of Samuel Courtauld, also called Samuel (1720-1765).
Following her husband’s death in 1765 Louisa entered into partnership with George Cowles.
This urn has an unidentified crest on the base and cover.
