Notes

This and D.1952.RW.430 appear to be from the same sketchbook, from which other drawings are in the Royal Collection at Windsor (nos 26-31 in Blunt, 'French Drawings at Windsor Castle', 1945), probably made in Florence 1617-19. This drawing is not included in Daniel Ternois, Jacques Callot : catalogue de son oeuvre dessiné. Supplément (1962-1998), 1999.
