Inscription: recto: lower left, artist: J F Rigaud RA. Pinx.
Inscription: recto: lower right, engraver : W.N. Gardiner Sculp.
Inscription: recto: centre, description, date, publisher : The body was received most reverently by the Bishop of Peterborough and the Dean and Chapter; and in Presence of the Scots who attended it, was laid in a vault prepared for that purpose. The Bishop of Peterborough performed the Funeral Service, and the Bishop of Lincoln / preached the sermon; after which the following anthem was sung: / 'Go Sorrow's Sigh, and falling Tear, / 'Tell the sad world who sleepeth here. / 'Those angel graces who shall paint? / 'Who speak her glories now a saint? / 'some spirit kind this truth impart, / 'say what thou wert! say what thou art!' / Published as the Act directs May 1, 1791, by T. Monzani, No. 6 Coventry Street, Hay Market.
