Watermark: Watermark: centre: circle with a border, containing a fleur-de-lis? (Difficult to see).

Inscription: Recto: on a strip added to the upper edge of the sheet, brown ink: "Disegno dell'altar Maggiore della Chiesa di S. Giuseppe detto il Crocione"; lower right, above scale, brown ink: "Scala di Br[acci]a sette Fiorentina" and the scale is numbered in brown ink from "1" to "7"; lower centre edge, brown ink, signed by the artist?, first letters monogram: "TB.TG.". Verso: lower centre edge, graphite: "118-27 P C81 item 55 £80"; lower right corner, several lines in graphite now erased and mostly illegible (including under UV): "+ [...] TA[...] / S[...] //". Mount (removed, cut down and now in file): graphite: "P / C81 / item 55 / £80 / AAC 1 //"; graphite, Blunt's hand: "? For S Giuseppe, behind S. Croce, Florence".
