Watermark: centre: circle containing a six-pointed star with a circle in the middle, topped by a cross (close to Briquet 6089 - crosses of this style often accompanied by initials found in Italy meridionale throughout the 17th century).

Scraps from mount, cut down and now in file, graphite, Blunt’s hand: "Follower of Cortona / ?? for chapel in the room of S.
