Watermark: right centre, cut off at right edge: D & CHA[...] (no match in Heawood or Piccard, Peter Bower thinks it may be French, 18th century, probably made in Auvergne).

Inscription: Recto: lower centre edge, brown ink: a scale numbered 1 2 3. Verso: upper centre edge, graphite, erased: 6; upper right, graphite: 1; lower centre, graphite, erased: 349; lower centre, graphite: Carlo Bibienna / (Galli) / 150-22=158 P; lower right corner, graphite, erased and mostly illegible (no more legible under UV or IR): MGR [...]3 / C12.
