Collector's mark: Recto: lower left corner, written in brown ink: John Thane (L.1544); lower left, blindstamped; Sir Thomas Lawrence (L.2445).
Stamp: Recorded in 1984 condition report that there was an 'Ausfuhr' stamp present on the mount; if the same as on other drawings in the Seilern collection, it is a blue export stamp reading "von der zentralstelle für denkmalschutz zur ausfuhr freigegeben".
Inscription: Recto: lower right edge, graphite: illegible word.
