Inscriptions

Watermark: Watermark: lower centre: large circle with an outer border formed of double lines and an inner border formed of double lines, but unable to see what it contains due to support. Support (historic), centre: Strasburg bend above "G R" [no exact match found but see Heawood 103 (1777), 105 (1781?), 107 (1768), 108 (1788) and 110 (London 1789)]. Same watermark or a variant be GR (for C.V. Gerrevink); these letters are on the Birmingham Museum copy of the same drawing - perhaps has a bearing on authenticity of this drawing?

Inscription: Verso: lower right edge, graphite, Colnaghi number: "A. 22383 TSL".

Collector's mark: none.
