Inscription: Recto, with illuminated gold-leaf initials 'C' and 'E': gold ink: Converte nos / deus saluta / ris noster. / Et averte iram tuam Continuing on verso, with illuminated initials 'B' and 'D', the last line written after several blank ruled lines in blue ink: aut johannis apostoli tui et / evangeliste illuminata / doctrinis ad dona [sic, for 'bona'] p[er]veni / at sempiterna. Per xpm [Christum] / dominum nostrum. am[en]. / Benedicamus domino / Deo gratias. / Ad complectorum. Verso: lower right, brown ink: R / I.
