The strong colours and simple yet expressive composition of this toy design seem well-suited for production in wood, especially the striking saw-shaped accordion. The figure is secured to the base with one fixed leg, whilst the other is intended to be rotated and able to perform a number of different poses. The Omega Workshops stressed that their toys aimed to express the essence of a character rather than being a ‘literal imitation’ of its appearance.
