Verso: left half of sheet, brown ink, artist's hand, cut off at left edge: "[...]bably 3 difft Centuries 11th [... obliterated by repair] / The Southernmost Tower of ye West front of St Margaret's Church Lynn / [...] of ye largest parochial churches in ye kingdom_ / [...]ounded about 1100 The Arches may be of 240 feet long / 118 wide / 52 high / in form of a cross / [...] tris age near the bottom of ye tower but the / [...]art above them is 1200 to 1230 / The liminal latter part of ye 13th Century - (org[?] more modern) / I agree wth Cotman W.C.".
