For the verso image, the sketchbook has been rotated ninety degrees, with the bound edge at the top, so that the image is in portrait format.Image on recto spans both the verso of page 5 and the recto of page 6 of the sketchbook. The mountaintop ruins may be the same as those depicted on D.1954.AH.8.4 and D.1954.AH.8.5.
