Inscription: Recto: beginning upper left and filling page, brown ink: On the use of the Camera as a Photographic / Instrument. / First, with regard to the Camera - Dr. Brewster / strongly recommends the meniscus form / of lens. As a single lens there is no doubt / that this form gives the flattest figure / and with Sir D.
