Collector's mark: none.
Watermark: upper centre: narrow shield containing a kneeling man holding up a cross. Same type as Briquet 7628 - dated 1602 - but here he holds the cross higher than his head. Report in file (by whom - Peter Bower?): laid, similar paper tone to D.1952.RW.454. Even, finely distributed furnish with random hemp fibres and blue silk/wool fibres. Lighter weight to paper D.1952.RW.454. Chain line distance similar to D.1952.RW.454 but not close enough to be the same sheet.
