Inscription: Recto: upper right corner, graphite, cut off so unsure of number: “200”[?]. Verso: upper centre, graphite, signed and dated by the artist: “102 / Wm Crotch No 6 ....[illegible] Woringden [?] / 1/2 past 12 Sepr 22 1802 / Horton - a large tree seen for miles by / the gate into Studley house”.
