Inscription: Recto: lower right of centre, brown ink: “T. Stothard.”. Mount (removed, see photo), Recto: lower right, graphite: “Thomas Stothard / 1755-1834 / The Landlord's Family. / Signed T. Stothard. / Engraved CKnight 1835. [the former line erased] Engraved 1800.”.
