Inscriptions
Watermark: Watermark: Recto, left centre edge, fragment: bottom of a Strasburg lily above a bell labeled "JUBB" (this exact watermark is not in Churchill, Heawood or Gravell & Miller, but is similar to the watermark in Gravell & Miller dating from 1775, suggesting this dates after 1775, but before 1794 because Jubb's mill in Ewell, Surrey, last operated in that year - see worldcat.org/identities/lccn-no2006-69790).
Collector's mark: none.
Inscription: Recto: upper centre edge, graphite: “The Rhingrave of Salm“. Mount (removed, now cut down and in object file): graphite, L.G. Duke's hand: “D504/ G. Dance RA 1741 - 1825 / LGD“ and below that, Witt number “3697“.
