'Paris newspaper.'"; lower right (within drawing), grey ink: "The Ex-Emperor."; lower centre, grey ink, dated by artist: "The Fete Napoleon at Chislehurst Augst - 1871. / "If you please your ex-Imperial Majesty here's some more Telegrams and 'Dresses come / and Missus says you'd better read em afore you go to bed.
