Mount, now cut down and in paper file: names identifying figures above when the drawing was mounted, in graphite: “Princes of / Wales”, “Wilkes”, “Sheridan”, “Fox”, “North?”, “Burke” and below the names “Henry William Bunbury 1750-1811 / Westminster Election 1784”.
Collector's mark: Verso: lower left corner, stamped in black ink (now hidden under Japanese tissue): Sir Robert Witt (L.2228b).
