Bloemaert + in Utrecht 1647."; lower right corner, graphite: "No. 726"; lower right edge, brown ink: "N.40"; lower right corner, brown ink, partially hidden under edge: "17.Ai [?]".

Label: Verso: adhered to lower right edge, printed in black ink: "BLOEMAERT, ABRAHAM, b. at Gorcum, in 1564; d. at Utrecht, 1647. Painter and / engraver. Studied under Franz Floris, better colourist than designer. Chiefly occupied / classical subjects. (Flemish School.) //".
