Witt's index card records that he bought this for 315 shillings (£15.75), but his annotated copy of the auction catalogue records that he purchased it from the sale for 20 guineas (£21).

Inscription: Verso: upper left corner, graphite? Obscured by Japanese tissue: "[...]eforr"; lower left, graphite: "/2330n72".
