Inscriptions
Watermark: possibly one at Recto, right centre, but unable to see through the backing sheet.
Inscription: Recto: lower right corner, brown ink, dated by the artist? unclear: “Andreas Eifüng [...] / Ju[...] gep[...] / i6. Waris Anno i6 [...]”. [Troutman translated as “Andreas Schuch M[aler ?] / In Ulm geschenen d[en ?] / 16 Maij Anno 16[...]", not sure who transcribed the other version above; Troutman also read the first word on RW.274 as 'Schuch', but noted the different spellings, and that therefore both inscriptions could not be by the artist].
Collector's mark: none.
