Support (removed but still mounted with the drawing), Verso: upper centre, graphite, underlined: “HS”; centre, graphite, large: “312” (succeeding the number on the support for D.1952.RW.2704).
Collector's mark: Verso: lower left edge and again on lower right edge on a remnant of a former backing sheet, stamped in black ink: Sir Robert Witt (L.2228b).
