The drawing is secured on all sides to the mount so the verso is no longer visible (photos and transparencies exist, however). The subject identification is apparently based on another pen drawing, of the same youth, inscribed on the verso ‘Young Seymore the Colonell’s Son’, which was in the collection of Iolo Williams and was published in Country Life, 24 Feb 1934.
