Verso: lower left corner, graphite: “453”; lower right, graphite: “Sansovino Domi del Monte / Bildhauer um 1581 //”. Mount (removed, cut down and now in file): graphite, William Bradford’s hand: : “Inscr. on reverse “Sansovino Domi del Monte, / Bildhauer um 1581. / Probably drawings after Sansovino statues / by Sansovino in S.’Agostino. / Witt 2535 WB 1980 //”.
