Watermark: Watermark: Verso, right centre edge, fragment: lower half of a shield containing a horn, above “4” above “L V GERREVINK” (a variant of Heawood 2745 – London 1755).

Inscription: Verso: lower left, graphite: two lines erased and now illegible; lower right, graphite, the second two lines crossed out: “5 / 54 / 12 //”; lower centre, graphite, erased: “9 2/30”.

Collector's mark: Verso: lower left corner, stamped in black ink: Sir Robert Witt (L.2228b).
