Watermark: Watermark: Verso, lower centre edge: fleur-de-lis above a shield with diagonal bends above letters "L V G" (larger variant of Heawood 115 - no place or date given).

Inscription: Verso: lower left corner, brown ink: "N 80 / 13P //". Mount (removed, cut down and now in file), graphite: "*d / lflf / 35 / Northwick 33 //".

Collector's mark: Removed but still mounted with the drawing, stamped in black ink: E.A. Paterson (L.826a).
