Inscription: Verso: upper centre edge, brown ink, probably artist’s hand: “Dit op danderfÿde getekent van Herman SaftLeven is buiten de Weert @ i1674.”; right upper edge, graphite: “3”; right lower edge, black chalk or crayon: “73”; lower right, graphite, illegible scribble; lower left corner, graphite, Colnaghi number: “A7844”. Written on modern mount, probably transcribed from historic mount, now removed and missing, Colnaghi number and price: “A 7844 / TF/-/- / £12-12-0 //”.
