Watermark: Recto: left centre edge: small crowned shield containing a tower in the upper half, chevrons in the lower half (not found in Heawood or Briquet, nor in Memory of Paper). Peter Bower in his Flemish watermark report said the paper type is very similar to D.1952.RW.4099 but made on a different mould.

Collector's mark: Verso: lower left edge, stamped in black ink: Sir Robert Witt (L.2228b).

Inscription: Verso: centre, graphite: "Jordaens / Goofrei //".
